How PDF to JPG works

PDF to JPG draws each page as a JPEG image. Use it for a preview, a thumbnail, or a page you need to drop into a mail or a chat.

Text in the image is no longer selectable. Keep the original PDF if you still need to copy words.

Steps

  1. Drop the PDF.
  2. Convert and download the images.
  3. Open one page and zoom in to see if the type is still sharp enough.
  4. Use PDF to PNG instead if you need a cleaner edge on a logo.

Limits

JPEG compression softens fine lines. A 200-page file produces many images and can be slow on a phone.

Pictures, not text

Each page is drawn to a JPEG. The words are pixels after that. You cannot search them or copy them into Word.

Use this for a preview or a slide image. Use PDF to Text or PDF to Word when you need the words.
