How PDF to PNG works

PDF to PNG exports pages as PNG images. PNG keeps sharper edges than JPEG, which helps logos, line art, and screenshots stored inside a PDF.

The result is a picture of the page. It does not stay a PDF.

Steps

  1. Drop the PDF.
  2. Download the PNG files.
  3. Check a page that contains a logo or a thin rule.
  4. Zip the images yourself if you need to send them as one attachment.

Limits

PNG files are larger than JPEG. Very large pages can use a lot of memory in the tab.

When PNG is the better picture

PNG keeps sharper edges on text and line art than JPEG. The file is often larger. It is still a picture of the page, not an editable document.

A multi-page PDF becomes more than one image. Download the set and check the last page, not only the first.
