How Split PDF works
Split PDF pulls pages out of one file. You end with separate PDFs, such as one invoice page or a chapter range.
It does not reorder a book into a new single file. That job is Organize.
Steps
- Drop one PDF.
- Choose the pages or ranges you want.
- Download the pieces.
- Open each piece and check the first page number.
Limits
A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked before it can be split. Encrypted files are skipped.
Ranges, or every page
Leave the box empty to get one file per page. Or type ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-9. Pages are numbered from 1.
You get several files, usually in a zip. This does not reorder a single book. That is Organize.
